I just had a very bad experience with Comet (like so many others) who
said they could supply me with a new Belling cooker, took my money,
gave me a letter with delivery indicated for the Tuesday after the August
Bank Holiday and then cancelled the delivery on the Friday afternoon
AFTER my old cooker had been disconnected.
On the Tues I discovered (from Belling) that the cooker had been discontinued
by Belling months earlier. Comet weren't even sorry, so I marched round
to "Johnny Loulou's" -- John
Lewis -- at 6 pm, had impeccable service, and got a nice new Zanussi
cooker delivered two days later, old one taken away,
no fuss, no worry. I don't know why I ever think of going to anyone
else!
