I ordered dvd's there and got them next day
delivery. It is to my understanding that the company was short
staffed and since they sold their products cheap, had a great deal of
merchandise to send off.

I have have had exactly the same problem
with this company. I still have over £60 worth of
goods outstanding - I shall pursue this to the bitter end. The web site
advised that they were going out of business and guaranteed to supply
ALL orders - this has not yet been the case.Their web site has now been
removed and the 'Info' email addresses also deleted. So Phiilip McKellow
- if you're reading this - be prepared. Matt Woodhouse...3 September

looking at previous complaints on help forums it appears small stuff that

I have had exactly the same problems with
this guy, sorted eventually, but this last time I sent
a graphics card back and wanted some speakers which he said he would send,
didn't then after a long wait was sent an email that the company was folding
but that all orders would be honoured, everything has closed and still
waiting for my money, does this guy have a conscience or what, as being
on benefits £40 is a lot of money to me. J Franklin....10

I placed 2 orders in June for small items
no more than a Kilo in each order and never received anything. Their email
address is gone and their website is no more. The two people involved,
Mandy O'Loughlin and Philip McKellow cannot be contacted. As the orders
were under £100 the credit card company are no help. I assume the
next step is to take them to court to get my money back.

I ordered a CPU back in June with a specific motherboard
speed specified (200mhz). The money got debited straight away
but waited over 4 weeks before receiving it. To my amazement they send
me a CPU for the wrong motherboard speed (266Mhz) which was no use to
me. I returned the CPU in good faith and asked for a full refund as they
could not supply the 200 mhz version.
A email from Philip declared:
'Hi, that will be no problem at all, a full refund including your postage
costs will be sent. Regards PM'
That was in July, I've received a few emails since telling me
my refund would be in the next lot!! Fat chance of that!! I should have
kept that CPU, I could at least have sold it back on Ebay!! Does anyone
know if they went into receivership?
What's the next action to take so they don't get away with it?
Apparently same guy same problem, was trading as GOBIDFORIT last year
and had lack of cash flow & no stock. Before they closed down, the
whois gave:
Domain Name: ukpc.tv
Registrant: Mxxxx Rxxxxxx (domain@ichip.tv)

I can see a few letter of complaints going her way!!

I ordered a Microsoft IntelliMouse (£40)
from UKPC.tv back in June 2002. I was told I could have
the goods in a couple of days, but after two weeks I decided to give up
and cancel the order. I was told that I could have a full refund, which
would take a couple of working days. I waited weeks and still no refund,
so I emailed UKPC asking why I had not received it. I got no replies from
over a dozen emails and so contacted my bank. They dealt with my problem
and attempted to contact the company to obtain the refund on my behalf.
After ten weeks of waiting, the bank replied stating that the company
(UKPC.tv) had failed to respond and so the bank gave me a full refund.
