I'm sick to death of the length of the advert
breaks between programmes, especially the ones for toilet paper
showing bare arses and sanitary towels and kids on the loo going on about
the smell their making. These ads are usually on while I am eating my
tea. I am also sick of the repeats day after day

I have experienced the same lack of service. I have spent hours
on the phone with no luck and have e-mailed my complaint to every address
they have listed. I have not even received an acknowledgement from their
website or other complaints addresses. They assume that if they ignore
complaints they may dissapear. I see that it is extremely easy to get
through to their sales dept. as they obviously have all their resources
allocated to get as many new clients as possible. Unfortunately should
something go wrong their backup service is non-existent!

Customer relations are non-existent @ NTL. I have spent periods
between 40 minutes and 2 hours on hold to NTL and in one instance have
also been cut-off after a 2 hours on hold period.I also have been promised
call-backs from NTL Accounts, Technical Support which have never happened.
I have similar reports from People living in the Berkshire area and it
is also evident when you turn up in one of NTL's shops the level of customer
complaints are extroadinary!

Same sort of issue NTL sent me a Hire Agreement
which stated 'Terms and conditions provided with the contract
form part of your agreement with NTL' I didnt get this 'contract form'
or the T&C. After NTL failed to give me NTL World I attempted to cancel
only to be told I couldn't as I had signed a contract. I asked if it was
the hire agreement, which they said It wasn't. I asked for a copy and
was sent two blank copies of the hire agreement one for me one for NTL
and was asked to sign it. I think not. NTL representative contacted me
last week and said I would not be held to my contract but when I tried
to cancel I was told I couldn't cancel. NTL contacted me again after I
raised the issue again and told me the same thing after being passed through
three people. One who said he would help, but someone from complaints
took over and told me again I couldn't cancel. I am very dissapointed
with NTL and will never recommend them to anyone and will leave them at
the earliest opportunity.
