If you have made your purchase on a Credit
Card and you have not had your goods, then contact your
Credit Card company. They should refund a little quicker as well as taking
the issue up with the company. You should not pay credit on something
that you have not had.

I ordered a tredex dvd on the 15th Decemebr
2002 and i am still waiting. I was informed that the item
would be with me before Christmas but no sign as yet.I am disgusted with
there level of service and communication from them,i have explained to
them that the item was for my six year old daughters christmas present
but they said im sorry and that i will have to wait for the item to be
delivered before they can issue a refund to my bank account. If i knew
that this was going to happen i would of gone somewhere else. I keep getting
passed from pillar to post which is so fustrating and my daughter hopes
every day that her VERY LATE Christmas present may turn up.
I think we deserve some kind of compensation for this problem & inconvenience.

Not a complaint as such.I bought a Vito
Calucci woman's watch. Stated by Auction World as a known
brand. However no one has ever heard of it, I cant find it anywhere on
the internet, and my work colleagues say I have been ripped off. Who is
Vito Carlucci?

Just reading your complaints against auction
world. i have got the same problem with them. i ordered
a tredex 3050 dvd player from them on the 29th dec 2002 and was told 4
to 6 working days. It is now 17th jan and still no dvd player. i have
rung twice and keep getting told different stories. first they said we
had a problem with stock but it was being dispatched to today and would
be with me by the 15th jan. but what a surprise still no dvd player.
have spoke again today 17th jan to them and the dvd player hadn't even
been dispatched but they did say everyone will have them by the 23rd jan.
anyone thinking of buying from this channel beware there is no customer
service just lies and excuses and false promises. Any one who has had
problems with auction world please go onto the bbc watchdog website and
send them a email maybe then more people will think twice before ordering
anything from them.

Well, I guess at just 5 days there isn't
much point in calling them . My DVD player hasn't turned
up and from your comments I wont br holding my breath. I have in the past
ordered a large globe (delivered in just 3 days and also a mobile phone
( delivered in 2 days). I am dissapointed to read all the comments and
frustrtated that i have been caught in the same trap.

what i had done there response was well are valuer told us £200,
i then switched over to bid up tv and there promise is that if you get
it valued at safegaurd and they say it is it different price then they

I purchased a mens vito carlucci century
chronomgraph watch model no. 8922m from auction world in mid 01/03.
It is mid 02/03 and the supposed gold plated bracelet is already losing
its colour, for a watch that is supposed to be worth £425 i am far
from impressed as i have only worn the watch a dozen times in this one
month of ownership.
With my anger fueling me I went in search of finding vito carlucci on
the internet, this was impossible and the paperwork that was sent to me
by auction world didn't even have a telephone number to contact vito carlucci
on so i tried to locate them using directory enquiries they have no listing
of vito carlucci in london(which is where the paperwork from auction world
tells me that this is where the company is located), does this company
even exist????
The watch although a stunning looking time peice has all the quality signs
of a del boy bodge job! Having just paid £105 for this watch i still
feel ripped off, and would like to know who i can contact to take this
further? The only saving grace is the fact that i haven't paid the full
£425 for the watch as that would make me irate. Reece Thomas..

I have bought four Vito Calucci watches
as I thought they were a designer brand. I am unable to
find the brand on the web. Nobody even my Italian friend has heard of
the make. My watch strap has come apart already. I am not at all happy
with the watches but sending things back to Auctionworld is just impossible.

After reading all these complaints about auctionworld
would certainly put me off purchasing anything from them. Apart
from the fact I have purchased many things, including a lapis globe, which
didn't have any information about the stones for each country, so I rang
up and they quite happily sent this info. to me. The Ben Sherman watch
didn't work, but they sent me a pack to return the goods immediately.
I bid for some pans only catching the end of the auction so missed info.
on them, ringing cu. services the girl didn't Know, but said she would
ring back with the info. when she had it. True to her word she did. Up
to now we have bid for many things and the only gripe I have is the ridiculous
p+p for all items which is the same for large and small. Sarah

Dear Auction World, I am always amazed at the quality
and rarity of the good that you have coming up for auction.
However I must point out two things that make me doubt the authenticity
of your products.
4th August Last night you were auctioning a Viv Anderson Master Arsenal
shirt. However when the auctioneer turned the short the name "Andersson"
was spelt on the back of it. That certainly stinks. I don't think Viv
Anderson has changed his nationality to Swedish? Your caption clearly
said "Viv Anderson" but the shirt certainly did not.
A while ago.....
The three European Cup winning signed shirts are also in doubt. Man Utd,
Real Madrid and Liverpool, The Liverpool shirt circa 1976/77 was signed
by Ian Rush who did not join Liverpool until the 80's. Also Kenny Dalglish
had signed along with Kevin Keegan when Kenny Dalglish was bought after
Kevin Keegan had left the club. Please check. John Samson ...

I brought the kodak digital camera on the 9th of
August, still not received
it.Customer services don't know where it is and will only E mail operations.I
have rang for the last four days and had every excuse they can think of.Customer
services seem to do the very least they have to.Maybe one day i'll get
my camera,maybe not Alan Aitkenhead .. 19 August 2003

I returned a kodak camera in August. Despite
3 phone calls admitting they have received it back I cannot get a refund.
I have been told 3 times money would be put back in my account within
3 woking days .I am still waiting. I thought all their problems were behind
them I use tv channels a lot especially up to xmas but this has put me
off bidding again with auction wold. Wake up -You are losing orders because
of you slack attitude to customers.

Personally I think Auction world are the best
thing since sliced bread the prices are amazing. I have had great purchases
from this channel at wonderful prices. The goods have always arrived within
the 5 days that they state and my favourite wins are my chloe sunglasses
at 10 (shop price up the road from me is 110 for the exact same model)
I am the envy of all my friends.

I have had a number of products from Auction World without problem however I have just ordered an Elvis Hair item. Ithas taken over 7 weeks to arrive and the hook on the back and the certificate are upside down compared to the front. DVD player bought 16th November still has
not arrived at 16th December despite daily calls to Auction
World (when you can get throught). Bottom line is that UPS has lost the
parcel but AW will not replace, refund, can't confirm delivery and can't
tell me when things will be resolved. They do not have a Customer Service
department, they have a complaints department.
