please note that there are many other free sms services on the web and have been for some time, these are all accessible to whoever it is that is sending you these messages. Due to the data protection act, uboot is unable to give out user info except to the relevant authorities.

if the abuse is received on a mobile phone, uboot will, at the mobile phone holder's request, lock the mobile number from the service. this meansthat no messages sent from the uboot site will be forwarded to the mobile in question. to do this, uboot will need the mobile number and the phone owner's authority to block sent messages.

of course, uboot is happy to assist the police in any criminal investigations and will take appropriate action against users who break the terms of service.

anyone who intentionally seeks to cause harm (by harassment, slander, threats, etc.) will be identified by uboot and will lose his account without prior notice - all additional rights to claim compensatory damages reserved. in the case of violations of the law, we are required to furnish all information to the public prosecutor's office for further investigation."
