RETURN TO ORIGINATING DEDICATED PAGE

I purchased goods to the value of 100 on the M & S website and paid a higher charge to have the goods delivered on Saturday. I did this as I work Mon to Fri.

On Fri I came home to find a card through the door from Reality (M & S nominated carrier) stating that they had tried to deliver the goods but I was out (er well yes that's why I paid extra to have them delivered Sat!!!)

I rang the carrier and was told to ring on Sat am. I rang Sat am and was told that the goods would be delivered Mon, I said that would be no good as I was in work, they said they would deliver it Tues, I said no good I am in work.

They said after 3 attempts at delivery they would return the goods to M & S! I said I PAID EXTRA TO HAVE THEM DELIVERED SAT! I was told "I've got 2,000 parcels to deliver take it up with M & S. I rang the internet customer service dept and they said they would get the firm to deliver them later on that day (Sat) I rang the carrier to confirm this and also to establish an approximate delivery time as over 3 hours had elapsed since my original call.

I was told " I can't lie to you, the goods won't be delivered until Mon!" I then rang M&S customer service at Baker Street to cancel my order. I have written a letter of complaint to both M&S and the carrier as I want them to know the reason for the cancelled order. I will never purchase goods from M&S again either in person or via the website as I feel they tried to obtain my hard earned cash under false pretences.
