Dear Mr Lightfoot,
Thank you for your reply. I am please to see a third person has now
been involved in replying to my letters as it shows that IKEA truly
believes in continuity. Unfortunately, your letter was an insult to
my intelligence and yours.
Do you honestly believe that a customer IKEA has managed to infuriate
so much through its negligence and lack of customer care will ever set
foot in one of your stores again? I would not think so, and am speculating
if sending vouchers is a way to infuriate me even more. I am returning
them, and you should find them enclosed with this letter.
Your letter further goes to prove that you have not put yourself into
my case and have carelessly read (if you have read it at all) any previous
correspondence on this case.
You state that IKEA has previously given me 100 GBP in vouchers.
That is incorrect.
Your offer of 200 GBP in vouchers is lower than what IKEA Croydon
previously offered, as they were ready to compensate me with 200 GBP
in cash.
I am now giving up on you and have instructed my solicitor to handle
all the paper work for the small claims court.
