My wife and I brought a Hewlett Packard Pavillion PC package
-including scanner & printer
-2 to 3 months ago. The monitor had a fault from day 1 it flashed
on rapidly from start-up
for 20 minutes making it impossible to use till the flashing stopped.
I told the call centre at
Comet who told me to phone Hewlett Packard to comfirm the monitor
was faulty which I did.
I was told the monitor was faulty and to call Comet to arrange a
replacement I had to
wait over a week for a replacement, I paid close to £700.00
for something I couldn't use and I had to take back myself, got
the replacement monitor back guess what?.....
.... That's right, same fault, also on a side note there was supposed
to be a leaflet for 3 free software titles of my choice that wasn't
there either, after bringing this up I was told that a leaflet would
be sent to my address so I could make my choice, STILL WAITING COMET
!!!
I've been emailing the complaints section of their web-site every
day for the last week but not recieved 1 reply, not even to tell
me to bog-off and stop bothering them. I shall not be buying from
Comet again and neither shall my relatives or friends or anyone
else who I get to talk to.
Perhaps TCCL can help me as I feel as though I'm left with a lemon.
