I ordered a CDRW DVD combo drive from www.ukpc.tv , its seemed
like a fairly reputable company. I used my switch card to pay
for the item.
According to the site the item should arrive within 3 - 7 days.
It did not and the money had already been taken from my account.
So I waited another week just in case they had been having problems,
still nothing, so I emailed them asking them what was happening.
They said they'll chase it up.
I heard nothing for another week. So I emailed them again saying
I would like a refund please, they said they were out of stock
but will send me one in a day or two, I said OK.
Nothing arrived, so emailed them again, I had no reply, so I emailed
them again saying I want a full refund, no reply.
I filled in a form on there website and sent them another email,
still no reply.
It has been over 6 weeks since my money had been taken and I still
have not recieved anything and now I'm being ignored by them as
well.
Later entry:
Yes I had a reply saying that I would get my refund. That was
about 2 weeks ago (from 29 July 2002) and still I have not got
my money. I know for a fact that it doen't take 2 weeks to issue
a refund onto a debit card.
Previous refunds from other companies have taken no more then
a day or two
for the money to be returned to me. Frankly I really dont know
what to do anymore. I've even loged a complaint with the trading
standards organisation online.
These guys dont seem to want to give me my money back at all,
thats all I want.

Their website states "We aim to respond to, emails, queries,
complaints and all other contacts by email within 24 hours."...
We will see. A Right of Reply email has been issued.
