My husband decided to get me a pc for xmas so we went with Tiny since it’s a well known company and when we went to the showroom to speak to a salesman we went with lots of questions to make sure we got the right pc.We received the pc on 11/12/01.

L the salesman was there to answer our questions such as

1. Does this pc have firewall and anti-virus protection because we had recently bought Norton anti-virus for my husbands laptop and didn’t want to have to buy more software?

L's Answer: Windows XP has both integrated into it so you wont have to buy any software to protect the pc.

The Truth: The pc didn’t have any anti-virus protection and a disc with pc-cillan was sent by J S, one of the many supervisors I spoke to from TINY, and the disk would only update virus definitions for a year then I would need to buy anti-virus protection. (Editor's comment: that is the industry standard)

2. I download music off the internet and want a pc that can make that faster and one that wont make other programs slower when I download songs?

L's Answer:
This computer will zip through downloading music in just a few minutes and with this much memory it wont cause any problems if you have other programs running.

The Truth: The only thing that will help my download speed is my internet connection so even my husbands outdated 450mhz laptop will download just as fast as our new top of the line pc.

update on 24 January 2002

"Thanks so much for putting up our complaint. After some more arguing with Christine Spurno we finally did get some boxes at no cost but they didnt all have the styrofoam to secure the items for return and there weren't enough boxes of course and its been over a week now waiting for the other boxes and noone still has addressed whats happened to us and what action will happen to the lying salesmen at the showroom. They dont seem to care and still refuse a refund untill we return all items which is being made impossible by them. Thanks for your support.

" Just wanted to update on our problem with TINY.The PC is still in our possession, still because they say the box for the monitor is out of stock(even though they are mailing new PC's still)and now the excuse given is the problems with TIME taking them over so they cant do anything just yet.We have been trying to send this PC back since december. I will be calling yet again today to try and get the boxes we are owed just so we can return it and will try to speak to the finance company and trading standards yet again but nothing is being done and its really frustrating.Supposedly all the people dealing with our complaint at TINY are now gone ude to the takeover.I dont think we will ever get rid of this piece of garbage PC!!!!!!!
Sincerely,
Brett and Angela Wilson"

"Well just one final update as it seems we will not be getting a refund because now they keep us holding for a box while the takeover happened when Time has taken over TINY and now they say they will not be taking on TINYS debts and honoring refunds.

Trading standards also has told me that they dont have to now which is unbelievable.

We just dont know where else to turn.

Brett and Angela Wilson

oh and the pc has alot more problems even now!!!!
