I have made a group booking through RyanAir to fly from Stansted
to Newquay. The flights are all paid for. I contacted them on
Saturday to confirm the details of each passenger.
I was then told that due to British Summer Time, the flights have
been re-scheduled. Our original flight was leaving Stansted at
3:45pm but has now been re-scheduled to depart at 8:05pm, due
to arrive at 9:15pm. This is a Friday night! We have our accomodation
from midday and will not get to use the facilities.
Our flight home is now 9:40pm, which obviously means a much later
night than any of the group had anticipated.
These re-scheduled flights also have knock on effects.
A). Holiday that can't be cancelled.
B). Transport to and from the airport is now effected.
C). Plans for the Friday evening are now rendered useless.
These are just the obvious reprecussions.
We are not at all happy with this service and believe that I
would not of found out these changes until a week before we depart.
It's discusting and feel totally cheated now that they have our
money.
The only solution they offered us was to take the earlier flight....6:45am!
The weekend is a disaster before we even arrive!!!
