On Sunday 30 June 2002 we travelled from Stockholm to Stansted. On arrival in Stansted we were informed that due to staff shortages the bags would not be unloaded from the plane 'due to staff shortages' for at least 2 hours.

This resulted in us having to leave our bags in Stansted and continue our journey to Glasgow without our bags. We were however reassured that our bags would be with us within 48 hours.

It is now some 192 hours (8 July 2002) later and we still do not have our bags.

It has been a complete joke trying to deal with Ryanair staff, we have been trying to contact Stansted constantly for the last week, we have managed to get through twice only to be cut-off.

We have managed to get through to Prestwick who can give us no information but have told us they are also having problems contacting Stansted.

We have now been told that claims from June are 'being forgotten about - Ryanair are not bothered about them' and that all the bags are being shipped to Dublin. We have been told we are unlikely to receive our bags soon, if at all.

I have sent 2 faxes, a letters and countless e-mails none of which have been answered or even acknowledged.

We have been told by staff that this has been an on going problem for over a month!
