Plaintiff William Phillip Ward complains of the
Defendant Ryanair as follows.
JURISDICTION AND VENUE
1. This Court has jurisdiction of this case pursuant
to Maryland Rule of Court procedure.
Venue is proper in this jurisdiction because the Plaintiff
residence is hear. And the plaintiff paid for the tickets
from this jurisdiction.
THE PARTIES
2. Plaintiffs residence is XX XXX XXXX, XXXXXX, Maryland
21740
3. On information and belief the Defendants principal
place of business is located at
Dublin Airport Dublin, Ireland.
4. Defendant employs in excess of fifteen people.
THE FACTS
5. Plaintiff had an emergency and had to cancel His
reservations. After the reserervations was canceled
the reservations agent informed the Plaintiff that He
was entitled to a refund for the tax
that was paid on each of the tickets. She told the
Plaintiff to sent in a request for the refund to the
refunds Dept. at Dublin Airport.
6. Plaintiff had to drop off a car rental at Knock
Airport. After the Plaintiff droped off His car rental
He went to the Ryanair ticket counter to reconfirm what
the reservations agent told Him about the fact that
He was entitled to a refund on the tax that He paid
on the tickets that He canceled. So the Plaintiff asked
the reservations agent at the ticket counter at Knock
Airport if He can get a refund for the tax that He paid
on the tickets that He canceled.The Ryanair reservations
agent reconfirmed what the other reservations agent
told the Plaintiff over the phone when He canceled His
reservations. She said yes you are entitled to get a
Refund for the tax that you paid on the tickets.
7. And then the Plaintiff again called Ryanair and asked
if He can get a refund on the tax that He Paid on the
tickets that He Canceled. This reservations again reconfirmed
that He was entitled to a Refund on the tax that was
paid.
8. The Plaintiff then sent a request for a refund on
the tax that He paid on the tickets that He canceled.
As He was told to do by Ryanair . And as He was informed
by three Ryanair employees that He was entitled to a
refund on the tax paid.
9. And now Ryanair is refusing to pay the tax money
that is due to Him. The tax money that He was informed
not by one or two but by three employees of Ryanair.
That he is entitled to. This is a breach.
COUNT 1
10. Plaintiff repeats and realleges the allegations
containrd in paragraphs 1-9. Breach
WHEREFORE, Plaintiff demands judgment on Count 1 and
the damages in the amount to be determined at trial
consisting of pre and post-judgment interest, compensatory
damages. Liguidated damages cost and reasonable fees,
and such relief as the Court deems just and fair.
