My wife and children took the room number 8 yesterday, Saturday
October 20th.
We have no complaint about the room or the service, but we had
to leave around 12:15 because the room had become so full of cigarette
smell, we could not breath well and felt too sorry for the kids.
It was rather strange, because when we put the kids to bed, the
smell was not so bad. But as the night advanced, it became much
worse, and -interestinglly enough, seemed to come from the bathroom.
As soon as we left, our youngest son (2) coughed for half an hour
and ended up throwing up all over the car. This morning, all our
clothes smell of cigarette smoke, as if we had spent the night
in a bar.
We asked to be reimbursed and have been told that we were not
being truthful.
Obviously, the Rapoports still feel strongly about this matter
as to submit an article to TCCL. We have written to Pines Hotels
for a response.
