Nads is an Austrailian hair removal product. The product is advertised
on UK Shopping Channels ie Simply Shop to buy on line or over
the telephone.
I placed an order for the product online on the 04/09/02 and
requested for delivery by 48 hour courier, which was an option
in the drop down box. The other option was 7-10 days delivery.
I was relying on this product to arrive whithin the specified
time of 48 hours as I had arranged for a beautician to use the
product on me on the 07/09/02 in time for my job on the 10/09/02
which requires me to look glamourous.
I telephoned Nads c/o Simply Shop to ask when my order would
arrive and the agent told me it would be within 21 days which
was not a specified time advertised online or on the internet.
I wish to register a complaint of false TV/Internet advertising
as the product was not available for delivery by 48 hour courier,
and the agent told me I would receive the product within 21 days
and my account would have been debited before the product was
delivered.
Well a potentially hairy experience! A right of reply email
has been issued.
We should make it clear that the complaint is against the
delivery service and not the product itself.

Please read Right of Reply column (above left). Nads UK say they
never received the clik2complainst email in September 2002. Mr Calvert
has now been offered a 'Thank you' gift for pointing out the 'breakdown'
in Nads system.

Like Mr Calvert, I to was impressed
by the NADS product and decided to order the product through the
website. However, 2.5 weeks later I chased the order
up and was sent a very rude and sarcastic email from them. They
then had the nerve to ask for more money on top of what I had already
paid for them to ship the product out. I have now cancelled the
original order and am expecting a refund.
I found the UK distributors for NADS to be rude, sarcastic and very
unhelpful. I do intend to complain to the US head office as I am
sure they will be interested in exactly how their UK customers are
being treated by their UK distributors. Ms C English ...
