Our story with Moben is the same like everyone else's. We signed
the contract for our new kitchen in September 2001, to date the
kitchen has been installed only partly and the parts that have
been installed are insufficient or not useable.
Our dishwasher only opens partly because of a design fault and
we have not had an oven since September as the original one was
smashed by the fitters.
We have rung Moben virtually every day and submitted four complaints
in writing, and despite a formal apology by Moben we are still
where we are at the moment.
When ringing Moben we are on hold for up to 20 minutes, we are
passed around between departments and representatives, and my
various requests to speak to the MD have been ignored.
We have maintained a daily log of events since September, and
are now taking legal action. If anyone is interested in having
more information about this or "tagging along" please
contact us at philhodges@hotmail.com.

Your not the only ones who have been messed
around by Moben. My Kitchen is still yet to be installed,
but I have wasted 2 days already, having taken time off work to
accept arrival of the kitchen, only for a Saturday deliver date
fiasco. Read
details here ....

Why didn't I find this site before? I
have been pulling my hair out since February 2003! I appear to be
having the similar problems so many other people are having. Our
kitchen was due for installation in February 2003. My dream kitchen!
The first fitters turned up, then we lost one and then the other.
The dream kitchen was a disaster! We called for an inspection and
a completely new kitchen had to be ordered and fitted. This was
fitted weeks later but the fitter decided he knew better and failed
to follow the agreed design. New inspection - new kitchen needed.
To cut a very sorry saga short. A new lot of fitters arrived but
stayed for only one day instead of the three required. At this very
moment in time they are "completing the kitchen". During
these last nine months we have had broken promises, shoddy workmanship,
damaaged goods etc. etc. etc.As with everyone else I have been astounded
by the total lack of organisation, the appalling lack of customer
service care and the inability of the management to take responsibility
for their company.
I am contacting solicitors next week regarding compensation and
suppose that too will be difficult to satisfy. Moben has been unable
to provide quality goods or service. They don't show any concern
or care for the stress and troubles they cause. How they dare to
advertise on television amazes my family. The whole world should
be able to hear the groan we give. Let's spread the word and help
others avoid this disasterous company.Elaine Niblett...23

I have been waiting for my kitchen to be completed
since July. We have suffered dreadfully at the hands
of Moben and their incompetent fitters and suppliers. I have discussed
the matter with a friend who successfully achieved a compensatory
payment of 600 since Moben wanted to keep the matter out of the
small claims court. I am now preparing my case for the court.

I recently submitted my own Moben horror story
to this site but unfortunately it now seems to have
disappeared. Our kitchen should have been completed back in August
but the fitters made a complete mess of it.We called a halt to fittting
in the hope that Moben would put things right but they refused to
even come and look at the faults. The fitters never returned. After
taking legal advice we rejected the kitchen and 4 months on we are
still fighting for our money back. We still have no kitchen either!!
Our case has been with Qualitas for 3 months and we haven't heard
a thing.
We cannot afford to take them to court to enforce what I understand
is no more than our statutory rights. So much for consumer protection!!I
would really like to compile a list of dissatisfied Moben customers
and present it to the OFT and my MP. This company should not be
trading. If you would like to help then send your details to me:
Jeanine Wright, email mobencomplaints@walkern.org.uk
Perhaps together we can do something about this terrible company.
