Myself and family went on holiday with Golden Sun to Afoundu
in Rhodes. The plane was delayed for 3 hours on the way out we
were given to believe that our self catering accomodation at the
silvia hotel was to include air con which it didn't.
Again on the return journey the plane was delayed for some 5 hours
this was known to the company who did not supply support at the
airport and basically stranded holiday makers at the airport with
no info at all when they would be likely to fly home.
The plane was old and unfit to fly supported by the fact that
several weeks later all the planes of this company were grounded.
Nobody was contacted to apologise for this delay or compensated
for the extra meals and drinks they had to purchase because of
the delays.
I cannot complain about the accomodation or the reps on the island
even though they knew about the problems being caused by the unreliable
airline they were contracted to they were unable to do anything
about it except wish us the best of luck getting home.

booked to go to faliraki on 26th
of may 2004. just writing to ask if u know anything
more about kool pool studios as we have not got enough information
or pictures of the inside of these apartments. please could you
tell me any sites to go to with pictures of these studios. we have
went on the holiday truths websites but there is nothing on these
studios. please help

The kool pool studios in faliraki are the
best!! very near the
main area n the peepo r so nice! rooms very basic but if u think
positive ul have best holiday EVER!!! WE LOVED IT!!! Lisa
