Matter resolved
After deciding to upgrade a mobile telephone that I had previously
purchased from The Link with 3 years insurance (or Coverplan),
I was confronted with a shop that did not have in stock the mobile
phone I wanted. I was told that this phone was unavailable in
all of the south east. Funny however, that across the street at
the Car Phone warehouse, this phone was available.
Anyhow, I purchased the phone from the Carphone Warehouse. I cancelled
my coverplan insurance thing with The Link and asked for a refund
for the remaining two years. The said that I was unable to have
a refund as I did not buy a phone from The Link.
Letters and emails to them go unanswered. Telephone calls are
long and costly.
They refuse to offer a refund! If I had insurance from a reputable
insurance company and cancelled it I would get a refund. The main
problem is that coverplan in sold as insurance, when in fact it
is not.
I am still trying to get a refund.
