I had ordered a Sony PCG816s laptop computer in late October. Had to go abroad from Nov 7-23. They could not delay the shipment. Therefore had a card from Parcelforce waiting.

They were meant to deliver 24th Nov but nothing came. Arranged for 25th still nothing came. Finally arrived on 27th. It was all taped up with masking tape etc. Opened the package and it an old used Apple laptop which did not even turn on. Contacted Dabs who arranged for it to be picked up on Dec 4th.

They sent one email on the 8th Dec to day they received it and will get refund "in a few days" Still I have heard nothing and no sign of refund. I have sent so many emails they do not bother to reply to any one of them.I have no other contact details except the one for the Customer Services, I cant even phone them. I dont know where to complain.

This was meant to be a Christmas present. I have had to take time off from work just so that i could take delivery and send it back to them without even an apology. It would have been a lot less hassle if i had bought it in a shop (was about the same money). Will never buy anything off them and wont recommend them to friends or family. They are a complete joke.

I am experiencing something very similar. I ordered a computer form Dabs on 6th December with a guaranteed overnight delivery and it is now the 8th January and I have still not received anything, and no aplogy from Dabs. I have spent countless hours chasing Parcelforce, who has not been able to give me any information as to why this parcel has not been delivered. It should not be the customer's responsibility to chase Dabs' delivery partner, but Dabs conveniently doesn't have a customer phone line and their customer services email account is a black hole.

Dabs has been absolutely useless and I urge no-one to every purchase anything from them. Ms Vik ... 8 January 2004

Typical of dabs.
they cant even bother to respond to any emails even from clik2complaints. Why waste your time they are incompetent. Stay well clear they take your money and give you sweet FA in service.
