I have been forced to take legal action against
the Arandora Star Hotel, Blackpool, after they refused to honour
a refund they promised me.
After an error was made on my original Internet reservation at
the Arandora, when I was not given an en-suite room, I phoned
the hotel asking to be upgraded. I was guaranteed this upgrade,
but subsequently discovered the hotel had not made this change.
I then phoned to ask for a refund, which I was promised by a member
of staff called John. Yet again the hotel renegeded on this so
I am now out of pocket by £156.
This establishment has also contravened a number of legal requirements,
yet they will not offer me a sufficient response to my complaint.
