I got my lad a pro scateboard after 5 days it split at the
front, the shop said he must have been doing tricks on it.
It is a pro trick skateboard his last one he has had for 18mths
with no problems. They refuse to send it back to the manufactures
who we have contacted and they said the shop must send it back
and it has a 3mth warranty.
The shop and the shop's head office refuse to do anything.
We are on income support and this was my lad's xmas present
so it is nice to see AllSports goodwill to all their customers
at xmas. The lad is rather annoyed as his skateboard pals are
and will not use allsports again.( Shops comment on a trick
skateboard he must have been doing tricks on it)I hope the area
managers kids had better luck at xmas
A Right of Reply letter has been issued.

"At last a final decision we sent the skateboard back to allsports
who sent it to the manufacture who are doing nothing and said it
was misused little guy looses again still thanks for your help you
cant win them all

Well done! A genuine complaint that
deserves to be on this site! all sports is the supplier
of the skateboard, so their contract lies with the customer. If
they do not want to replace it, they are responsible to return it
to their supplier for examination & report. Keith Miller..

With ref to scateboard letter from
Mr McGuinness.
I am going through exactly the same issue with Allsports,2 days
and it split right across the board just behind the front axle,my
lad is 13,he was also told the cause was abuse.I'm over 12 stone
and I couldn't break a piece of ply if I tried. J. Coldridge...5

Re: Argus "Special Offers"
On the 6th,December they had an offer in a national
newspaper for a Kodak DX4530 Digital camera,the offer lasting until
the 10th, December.On the 7th, December I tried to buy a camera
on-line but I was informed that the camera was out of stock and
I would have to re-order when they had new stock, but they would
be at the normal cataloque price.
Due to the fact that on the second day of their offer Argos did
not have single camera on offer, I am of the opinion these offers
are just a scam to get you into their stores. J. Bullock
